Go and Sin No More

Have you ever expected the worst… and received grace instead?
That moment sticks with you. Because grace does what punishment never can. It does not just correct behavior. It changes hearts. 
In John 8, a woman is dragged before Jesus, caught in sin. The crowd wants condemnation.
Jesus says:
“Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.”
One by one, they leave.

Grace Exposes Us
The crowd came to judge.
Jesus revealed their hearts.
Grace reminds us we are all imperfect.
You cannot understand God’s grace until you understand your need for it.
Grace Meets You Where You Are
Now it is just Jesus and the woman.
He says:
“Neither do I condemn you.”
The only one who had the right to condemn her chose compassion instead.
That same grace is for you.

Grace Changes Your Direction
Jesus continues:
“Go and sin no more.”
Grace is not permission to stay the same.
It is power to move forward.
First comes forgiveness.
Then comes transformation.

Final Thought
You are not defined by your worst moment.
You do not have to carry what Jesus already paid for.
Receive His grace.
Get up.
And walk in a new direction.
